Solex Engine Leak Tester

The Solex leak tester is specially designed for Solex engines, such as the 330 to 5000 models. With this Solex leak tester, you can quickly and accurately detect air leaks in the crankcase, oil seals, intake, or cylinder of your Solex engine. The tool mounts directly in place of the intake/exhaust manifold and allows you to pressurize the lower part of the engine using a pump or air source, making it easy to find any leaks.

Tips & Instructions

1. Remove the carburetor and intake/exhaust manifold from the Solex engine.

2. Attach the supplied adapter to the manifold location.

3. Inject air using a pump.

4. Visually check the gasket surfaces and the pressure gauge to locate any leaks.
